Recapping Spring LRC 2016!
Formerly Ladies Rock Camp, we hosted our second LRC rock camp the weekend of April 29th through May 1st. Working with nearly 30 adult participants through instruction instructions, workshops, and band practice, SIX bands and TWO DJs were formed!

Workshops from the weekend included.. -"Rock n Roll was Invented by a Black Queer Woman" with dre -“Taking Up Space” with Mel -“Band Art!” with Noelle and Band Managers--Ny, Angie, Emerald, and Lily -“Loop de Loops” with Julie -“Contact Mics and Improvization” with Sumi (aka Shakai Mondai) -“Reclaiming our Right to Breathe and Thrive" with Morgan and Dinah from Philly Thrive

Special Shoutout to our LRC Band Managers! We were stoked to launch our new teen Band Manager Program in support of our LRC weekend. Throughout the weekend, our managers-- Ny Angie Emerald and Lily-- each managed 1-2 bands, supported the silkscreening workshop, as well as mc'd the final showcase on Sunday!
