Summer Programming for Youth and Teens

For all of our programs, we’ll be mailing or delivering C.A.R.E Kits for participants to make sure you have what you need to participate.

CARE Lab (July 17th-19th):

C.A.R.E. Lab is a 2-day weekend program featuring workshops, dance parties, open mics, and an opportunity to meet and chat with like-minded youth. Though we can't be in person right now, we are excited to explore with you new ways of loving, learning and celebrating together.

When? Friday, 7/17 - Sunday, 7/19: Schedule listed on the right!
Where? WHERE EVER YOU ARE IN THE UNIVERSE!!
Who? Youth C.A.R.E. Lab is open to girls, trans and gender expansive youth ages 9-19.

CARE Lab Applications Close:

•Thursday, 7/9 @ 12PM EST for anyone who lives outside of Philly (ie. suburbs, out of state, overseas)

•Wednesday, 7/15 @ 12PM EST for anyone who lives in Philly

Soundtrap Program
(2x/week for 8 Weeks):

Forming a band and creating something new is one of our favorite parts of Rock Camp. This Summer, Girls Rock Philly will be offering the band experience online! Collaborate with other GRP teens and youth on Soundtrap, and write original music together, even at a distance! We'll have 8 sessions together, culminating in an online showcase of your amazing music!

When? Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:30PM EST
5 WEEKS: October 20th - November 19th

  • Week 1: Tues 10/20 & Thurs 10/22

  • Week 2: Tues 10/27 & Thurs 10/29 

  • Week 3: NO CLASS ON ELECTION DAY 11/3 & Thurs 11/5

  • Week 4: Tues 11/10 & Thurs 11/12 

  • Week 5: Tues 11/17 & Thurs 11/19 SHOWCASE

  • Where? Virtual Programming -- wherever you are in the universe!
    Who? GRP x Soundtrap is open to girls, trans and gender expansive youth ages 9 - 19.

Now more than ever, GRP is committed to providing accessible programming to youth– and financial contributions from Community make it possible for us to keep it that way! If you're experiencing financial hardship, know that we're here for you, regardless of your ability to pay.

If you have the means to pay tuition to our summer programming, or even sponsor another participant, we'd encourage you to give generously! Your support means we can keep offering these services and spaces, through COVID-19 and beyond.

You can pay what you wish in any amount, donate the full tuition of summer camp, or double your child’s tuition to support another participant.

As always, tuition is not required, and no one will ever be turned away from GRP for lack of funds! Thank you for your commitment to Girls Rock Philly! You'll be directed to PayPal when you complete the application.
