ABOUT LADIES ROCK CAMP
Ladies Rock Camp (LRC) is a weekend day camp in Philadelphia, PA that provides an opportunity for ladies 19 and over to let loose for the weekend and play rockin’ music together. You’ll learn and/or practice your instrument of choice* on Saturday, and receive instrument instruction all weekend. You’ll form a band and work together to write an original song that you will play together on stage on Sunday. The Ladies Rock Camp Showcase is an unbelievable experience! In addition, you will have the opportunity to attend a variety of workshops.
*Choice of instruments includes Bass, Drums, Guitar and Keys (& turntables TBD).
Who may apply to Ladies Rock Camp?
Any woman age 19 and over may apply. NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. You don’t even have to bring your own instrument, but feel free if you like.
For the first time this year, tuition for Ladies Rock Camp, now a program of GRP, is sliding scale: $50-$400.
Space is limited to 24 participants: first come, first served.
Ladies Rock will take place at Studio 34 in West Philadelphia (4522 Baltimore Avenue). The Showcase location will be announced shortly.
