Hi campers & camper families,

A quick note to thank you for your applications — as of right now, we have 41 50 campers, which is more than twice our number from last year!  I’ll be sending out the acceptance packets (hint: you all got accepted) with all the necessary forms this week, so stay tuned…. 

Perhaps you heard about us through this piece on KYW (1060AM).  Or perhaps you read about us in the City Paper.  We’re glad to have you see what we’re all about.

Thanks to everyone who came out to our volunteer meet & greet!  We’ll be having our next one soon, so watch this space.

Another thing to watch for:  our camp as it fills up with campers!  Apply before June 15th to reserve your space in GRP 2008!

And finally: we’re bringing a number of summer screenings of Girls Rock! The Movie to Philadelphia!  Postcard coming soon.

And on that calendar, you will see that camper band Oak Oak Okay is playing the Philly Roller Girls double-header bout at the Sportsplex this Saturday, May 3rd at 5pm!

All this fun is actually a benefit for Girls Rock Philly, so you’ll support two groups of ladies at once!  GRP will also have postcards, applications, t-shirts and guitar picks on hand for you.

Seriously, there is so much stuff you can get from us, it’s not even fair.
