Come catch GRP reps & our very own head Gear Coordinator, Allison Polans, as she participates in a new series of rock & roll musicals hosted by Brat Productions. Allison is part of Brat’s newest original production, “Three Chord Fiction”, which features 5 teams who’ve each written a new short musical in 3 days! Shows are at 8 & 10 PM, Sunday & Monday, May 6 & 7 at the Khyber.  And sorry, campers: it’s a 21+ event.

Our next event: a silent auction. Choice location + amazing things on offer + great food & drink = a great time for all of you. Visit us April 6th — the next First Friday — at 3rd & Arch!

Girls Rock Philly has been repping hard around town — catch us next at Philly Sound Clash on Thursday, February 22nd at World Cafe Live. We’ll have a table all night where you can meet us & come away with all kinds of info & free stuff. Â

Our December 2nd dance party helped us in so many ways: we recouped all of our startup costs, we had our name in nearly every media publication in Philadelphia & we had some serious fun. Good times.

Girls Rock Philly holds its first fundraising event on Saturday, December 2nd at The Parlor (1170 S. Broad St.) Shake and Shiver – a frosty formal to benefit GRP – will feature music by DJ Girls Collective and Adam Sparkles (Making Time, Click.), film screenings from Small Change Collective, a holiday photo booth, snacks and spirits.
