Events/Marketing Committee

Description: The events/marketing committee’s goal is to identify & plan events for GRP — includes flyer design, street team work & event photography.
Outreach Committee
Point Person: Natasha Rodriguez outreach@girlsrockphilly.org
Description: Outreach members find & contact organizations to partner with, identify places where we want to send camper & volunteer applications, and volunteer at partner events.
5th Anniversary Committee

Description: Help us plan something special (or a lot of special somethings) for our 5th anniversary this year! Ideas & planning people needed, especially.
Education/Empowerment Committee

Description: A spring/summer committee that helps place campers in their right instruction level for camp, brainstorms new & exciting (mission-aligning!) workshops & lesson plans, and advises instructors & workshop leaders on lesson plans.
Gear Committee

Description: The gear committee solicits gear loans & donations for camp, keeps track of what gear we have & what shape it’s in, and is in charge of repairs/improvements.
Development Committee

Description: They make the money! Writing grants, identifying and cultivating any individual donors, as well as in-kind donations. We would also LOVE a corporate sponsorship person to specialize here.
